Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2012
A pungent, heavily fruited New Zealand white from the Marlborough Valley, this is an almost idiosyncratically aromatic and powerfully flavored wine. You're not likely to forget it soon. $10.99, which seems hardly excessive.
